Palladium is a chemical element with the symbol Pd and atomic number 46. It is a rare, lustrous, silver-white metal belonging to the platinum group metals (PGMs). Known for its excellent catalytic properties, palladium is soft, ductile, and highly resistant to corrosion and oxidation in air. The element was discovered in 1803 and named after the asteroid Pallas. Palladium is one of the scarcest elements in the Earth’s crust, with an estimated average abundance of about 15 μg/kg. Its primary use is in catalytic converters for automobiles, where it helps reduce harmful emissions. Palladium is also widely used in electronics, hydrogen purification, dentistry, jewelry, fuel cells, and as an investment metal. Due to its combination of stability, conductivity, and reactivity, palladium plays a vital role in modern industry and clean energy technologies.

Packaging Requirements	Each palladium ingot shall be wrapped in clean paper or plastic film. The net weight of each ingot must be 1,000 grams. Imported palladium ingots must be processed and converted into domestic-standard palladium ingots (net weight of 1,000 grams per ingot) prior to delivery. Any ingot exceeding 1,000 grams shall be calculated as 1,000 grams. Single palladium ingots weighing 3,000 grams may only be registered as Deliverable Inventory and sold if they were procured through the Zhonglianjin platform and have not yet been dispatched from the warehouse. Palladium powder shall be packed in plastic bottles with sealed plastic caps and securely closed.

Supplementary Clauses	1. Due to the time required for testing, industrial palladium must be delivered into the warehouse and registered at least 10 working days prior to the Trading Deadline to avoid a breach of contract. 2. Inbound Inspection Fees: (1) Traders depositing goods to register as Deliverable Inventory shall bear the required inspection fees (refer to the platform’s published rates); (2) Goods deposited by manufacturers holding Party A’s certified brand registration are exempt from inspection fees. 3. Palladium powder may only be delivered at factory warehouses.

3. Quality Standards

Palladium Ingot: Complies with the IC-Pd99.95 specification under the GB/T 39987-2021 standard, with a palladium content of no less than 99.95%, Grade: IC-Pd99.95; or the palladium ingot is a standard physical ingot produced by a qualified palladium supplier recognized by the London Platinum and Palladium Market (LPPM).

Appearance Quality: The palladium ingot shall be rectangular in shape. The surface of the palladium ingot shall be flat and clean, with intact edges and corners, and free from flash and burrs. The palladium ingot shall have no holes, laminations, cracks, or The surface of the palladium ingot must clearly indicate the product name, trademark, palladium content, net weight, and product number, with clear identification. Palladium powder shall be a grey sponge-like metal, with no visually discernible inclusions or oxidation colors.
