Contract Performance Safeguards: Full-Process Protection to Mitigate Market Risks**

At the opening of the conference, Mr. Yu Xiaochun, Chairman of Zhonglianjin Group, stated in his welcome speech that intensifying geopolitical conflicts have tightened supply and driven prices higher, posing serious challenges to the stability and security of supply chains.

He noted that the UNILINK platform has established a strict contract performance assurance system, covering the entire process from contract execution and cargo delivery to financial settlement. The platform aims to provide stable and trustworthy trading services in an uncertain market environment, maintaining a zero-default record for over 20 years.UNILINK seeks to help market participants manage price volatility risks and ensure 100% contract fulfillment.

He also called on all stakeholders across the industry chain to strengthen cooperation and jointly build a safe, stable, and efficient sulphur supply chain, a view that received broad recognition from conference participants.

During the roundtable discussion, refinery representatives Murtadha Radhi from NEAIS and Jawac Asad from Green Coast Fertilizer agreed that under the current complex external environment, logistics costs and default risks in the sulphur market are rising significantly.

In response, Bella, UNILINK’s Market Director, emphasized that the industry should enhance coordination and cooperation, using trusted platforms to jointly establish more resilient response mechanisms, making risks manageable and enabling a smoother adaptation to market changes and challenges.

Resilience Upgrade: Dual Drivers of Trusted Trade and Product Quality**

Facing industry challenges, speakers proposed solutions for strengthening supply chain resilience from multiple perspectives:

Trade Practice Innovation

Tohid Banavi of Sahara Falcon and Jaidithya Hans of Hyperion both highlighted the importance of digital tools and flexible distribution networks in improving global supply chain coordination and rapidly responding to market changes.

Quality and Stable Supply

From the supplier’s perspective, Rajeev Chowdhry of NEAIS pointed out that strict quality control and stable supply capability are the primary requirements downstream customers place on suppliers in a volatile market.

Platform-Based Collaboration

Aizat Kaparova, Overseas Client Manager, introduced how the UNILINK platform, through its digitalized full-process contract performance assurance system, provides certainty for cross-border trade — from contracts and cargo quality to financial settlement — helping enhance the resilience of the international sulphur supply chain.

Trend Outlook: New Energy Driving Structural Changes in Supply and Demand**

In the second half of the conference, discussions shifted toward core drivers of market change and future growth directions.

Demand-Side Structural Changes

Pan Meiqiao, Sulphur Analyst from Zhonglianjin Information Network, pointed out that the rapid expansion of China’s new energy industry is reshaping sulphur demand, shifting end-use consumption from traditional fertilizers toward new energy materials.

Potential Supply-Side Growth

From the perspective of elemental supply chains, Huang Minglei of Zhongzhe Energy noted that the expansion of global copper smelting capacity will increase the supply of by-product sulphur, which may become a key variable affecting the future global sulphur balance. However, attention must be paid to the impact of environmental policies on actual recovery rates.

Co-Creating the Future of Industry Resilience

This seminar provided a platform for in-depth communication across the sulphur industry chain, and participants reached a broad consensus:International geopolitical changes and the transformation driven by new energy are forcing the industry to move beyond traditional models.

Amid the wave of global sulphur industry transformation, the Zhonglianjin (UNILINK) platform has positioned contract performance assurance as its core service anchor. Through full-process digitalized management, the platform addresses cross-border trade bottlenecks, continues to leverage its global connectivity, and promotes efficient collaboration between upstream and downstream participants to jointly build a transparent, stable, and sustainable international sulphur trading ecosystem.

At the same time, Zhonglianjin will actively explore RMB-denominated settlement models, contributing to the internationalization of the RMB and helping global supply chains remain resilient amid uncertainty.
