China–Malaysia Zhonglianjin Aluminum Rod Business Launch Event
Recently, the China-Malaysia Investment Holding Group’s Zhongma Zhonglianjin Cross-Border E-Commerce Platform successfully held a special promotion conference for its aluminum rod business in Foshan, Guangdong.The event brought together representatives from over 70 enterprises across the aluminum industry chain as well as industry experts, who discussed the digital transformation and upgrading of aluminum rod trade, laying a solid foundation for the official launch of the business.

Leveraging Guangxi’s aluminum industry resources and the strategic advantages of the “Two Countries, Twin Parks” cooperation zone, Sino-Malaysia Unilink aims to address long-standing industry challenges such as supply–demand mismatches and delivery risks through price transparency mechanisms, 100% performance guarantees, and comprehensive end-to-end services. This initiative will help enterprises reduce costs and improve efficiency, while driving the digitalization and standardization of traditional aluminum rod trade.

In the future, the Sino-Malaysia Unilink Cross-Border E-Commerce Platform will take the aluminum rod business as a starting point, aiming to cover major core aluminum enterprises within the region and further expand into key Southeast Asian markets. The platform will gradually form a diversified bulk commodity portfolio, ultimately building an ecosystem integrating “digital trade + industry chain services + international capacity cooperation.”

Guangxi Sino-Malaysia Unilink Cross-Border E-Commerce Co., Ltd. was established in June 2024 as a joint venture between Sino-Malaysia Investment Holding Group and Unilink Enterprise Group.
Sino-Malaysia Unilink serves as an important platform for Sino-Malaysia Investment Holding Group’s expansion into cross-border bulk commodity trading, and as a core vehicle for promoting marine-oriented industrial development and the “industry–finance integration” strategy. The platform focuses on the non-ferrous metals, rare and minor metals, and chemical sectors, empowering upstream and downstream enterprises through digital supply chain services and cross-border collaboration capabilities.
Anchored on the “Two Countries, Twin Parks” strategic initiative between China and Malaysia, the platform extends its reach across the China–ASEAN market, aiming to become a comprehensive, internationally competitive cross-border bulk commodity e-commerce platform.
The platform began trial operations in August 2024, successively launching products such as industrial silver, industrial platinum, and Guangxi sulfur, while also conducting offline trades of indium ingots and nickel plates. By the end of 2024, the platform had achieved a cumulative turnover of approximately 640 million RMB. To date, it has attracted over 250 domestic and international enterprise clients, with 15 categories of rare metals available for trading.
